In the summer of 2015 I decided I wanted to start a blog. I wanted to share my passion for creative giving with others. But what to name myself……. you see my partner had just proposed and we were planning to elope. So obviously I could not use my future name for my website, that would have been a dead giveaway. Hence the birth of Coach Crafty.
Between September and December 2015 we got married, changed jobs and moved- no biggie. With our new home came so many perks and one minor setback. The perks far out weighed the setback. We had a lovely homestead to call home, I gained a beautiful studio space and we had our dogs all on our property. This place was and is perfect for us. The birth of Howling Hills Studio.
Our only setback really has been “bush internet”. I really do not blog that much anymore as the internet connection is basically glorified wireless dial up. Satellite internet is our only option for where we have moved and it drives me bonkers trying to work on the internet so the blog posts became a thing of the past.
Fast forward to November 2017, our internet is still a little sluggish but now that we are more established at our homestead I hope to write more often sharing what I am creating in the studio.
So now you know why it is Goodbye Coach Crafty….. Hello Howling Hills Studio.
